Part Description: The ignitor produces heat in gas units while the dryer is in operation.
Failure Symptoms: Dryer not heating.
Testing: Check the igniter for continuity, using a multimeter. If there isn't any continuity the ignitor should be replaced.
Bonus Tip: Also check the thermal fuse and thermostat, as these often need to be replaced as well.
