Failure Symptoms: Dryer makes noise and/or drum will not spin.

Easy Install, Works Perfectly
The old idler pulley in our clothes dryer froze on the shaft and was acting like a brake as the belt/drum attempted operation. Thought I might need a gear puller to remove the worn out pulley from the shaft but (believe it or not) a little WD 40 and a small pipe wrench did the trick. A little crocus cloth on the shaft and some white grease and the dryer runs like new and is so quiet I have to look through the window in the door to ensure it is running. Best $2.45 I ever spent (compared to the $13.50 the OEM wanted for the same part).
